I Believe

I believe in the rule of law, not the rule of man.

I believe in the separation of church and state.

I believe in liberty and justice for all: give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses.

I believe unbridled Capitalism, Democracy and Christianity - without proper guardrails - could lead to the extinction of civilized societies.

I believe, if humanity continues to make bad choices and pollutes our precious planet, it could lead to the extinction of humanity.

I believe Hitler and the Nazi party were pure evil, but were democratically elected, in the 1930’s, by many good German people.

Safe Landings Society - create a global network of concerned citizens, authors and professors encouraging critical thinking voting skills for democratic societies.

 We will emphasize citizens’ responsibilities so we can keep our constitutional rights.

As an initial definition of critical thinking skills, we will use common sense, common decency and seeking reality with a natural curiosity. 

We will always strive to illuminate many forms of outstanding resource materials, but our initial efforts will be anchored by several books: It Can't Happen Here by Sinclair Lewis, Groupthink by Professor Janis, Democracy in Chains by Professor MacLean, Dark Money by Jane Mayer, Autocracy by Anne Applebaum, How to End Christian Nationalism by Amanda Tyler, Attack from Within by Barbara McQuade, Age of Revolutions by Fareed Zakaria, The Road to Wisdom by Francis Collins and Professor Hoffman’s review of the Federalist Papers..  

We will also examine “Why Two Woke Agendas Do not Make a Right” … or why our divided society is STUPID and DANGEROUS for my precious granddaughters.
